No it’s true! Really! Read about it at Yahoo!. And yes, this is an old article, but I’m catching up here…

Three Internet Companies, Three Stories
LA Weekly: Do You IMDB?. IMDB continues to be the number one site I go to for movie knowledge. They groked hypertext early on and the way they designed their site, tieing metadata between movies together with hyperlinks, was a major example for others to follow.
SFGate: CRAIGSLIST On the record: Craig Newmark. Most of you know that craigslist has recently been invested in by eBay, but for those that don’t, this is a good read.
Salon: Blogging grows up: The story of Mena and Ben Trott’s Movable Type, and Six Apart, the company they founded around it. A must read for content tool developers.
Philly Future and NePhilly4Kerry news
Using Convention Bloggers and doing my work building NePhilly4Kerry.org helped me to realize what was so broken at Philly Future: its RSS aggregator. It sucked. It didn’t fulfill the most basic requirements of a good aggregator, and so I’ve redesigned it. Now you can see the most recent posts right where you should – at the very top of the page.
Speaking of NePhilly4Kerry.org, I’m real excited about it. It will be maintained by our Kerry for 2004 Meetup.com group. For many it will be their first experience blogging. Come on by and say hi folks.
Radiohead’s I’m A Creep In Flash
It takes a while to load, but it’s worth it. Not only is it clever, but it’s kinda disturbing. Check it out.
“We the Media” is out
Dan Gillmor’s new book We the Media is out. Looks like I’m doing some book shopping 🙂 More at boing boing.
Something I’ve Been Working On…
NePhilly4Kerry.org.. not ready for prime time… but very close.
Pizza Delievery Order Gone Wrong
Check out this ACLU produced Flash movie that is so close to reality, it’s scary. You can do almost all of this today without the national ID number, I would have omitted that.
Architecture of the World Wide Web
If you do web development, you should take the time to read this W3C Working Draft.
Apple’s Knowledge Navigator
Back in 2003 Jon Udell shared a download to an Apple produced movie made way back in 1988 that attempted to predict where we would be on the road towards having a true information appliance. We’ve come a long way towards it. As Udell says, maybe in another 15 years it will be fully realized.
Will Ferrell as George W. Bush in ACT Commercial
The sad thing is, while this is hilarious, can’t you imagine it being all too real?
