Oops! I’d love to see or hear the back peddling routine he tried to do. It would have made a great comedy routine, if it weren’t such a tragedy.
Karl: What paper was this in?
WOW what a trip. Just like a guy to get caught that way. Please, someone smack me if I am ever thinking about doing something so stupid.
I’ve asked my wife. I’ll let ya know. She’s the one that actually found this 🙂
Actually, I’m pretty sure that 9/11 was indirectly the catalyst of more than one divorce.
It was in my case. We had been having troubles for years and after 9/11 I realized tomorrow isn’t guaranteed so why waste time with someone who doesn’t love you?
It was a pain in the ass, but I’m much happier today than I was last September and I’m with someone who totally digs me now too.
I’m happy for your Robert. Sorry that you went thru what you went thru to get to your new place. I know I reevaluated my priorities after the attack too.
Was I leading the life I should be leading? Being the kind of person I should be being?
What is really important?
You’re right man, tomorrow ain’t guaranteed.
Excellent story, even if a hoax.
You’re all over Daypop btw. There goes your bandwidth dude…;-)
Shell (my wife) was forward this to me at work.
She never – ever – e-mails me 🙂 I thought this was something that ran in her paper actually.
It *is* hella funny though. But *not* the way ya wanna get on daypop for the first time! Yikes! Nice first impression!
Heh! I’m not sure if I’ve ever been on Daypop, but I got #6 or something on Blogdex for some ridiculous story or other (musta been a slow news Sunday or something ;), nothing as good as this one of yours tho’…it screwed my bandwidth for days. 😉
