This is interesting to me as the parent of a 8-year-old boy, and my experience bears this out — David’s hero is Max Steel, an animated secret-agent/extreme sports guy.
Oddly enough, though, he doesn’t seem to be interested in live-action hero-movies like “Spider-Man” or the “Star Wars” series.
When I was that young, movies really bored me. Only Star Wars captured my attention back then.
I was always into cartoons and comic books though.
