This morning I helped with what is simply called “visibility”: standing on a street corner (not saying which right now) with a honk for Kerry sign along with a bunch of other fine folks 🙂 And it was loud! Very loud. Rocking. A few Bush supporters attempted to join us, with their own signs, but it just wasn’t working out for them. I felt so sad for them.
Afterwards my team went canvassing in one of my old neighborhoods. We covered a huge stretch and I gotta tell ya – the turnout is going to be kicking.
Get out there and vote. That’s where I’m going right now, and then it’s back to work volunteering!
DISCLAIMER: Exit polls are always strange beasts.
Ok, with that said, if this one is any clue, Bush is getting his ass stomped in Pennsylvania right now.
KERRY – 60%
BUSH – 40%

I’ve been watching coverage for about 2 hrs now. And states are starting to come in. I’m getting a weird feeling. All of a sudden there is a lot of talk about absentee ballots.
Also, I don’t see anything dealing with exit polls. And they are throwing up #’s for electoral votes in states that haven’t even stopped counting yet.
Does this start to sound like a repeat of 2000?
I hope to God I am wrong.
Something is wrong. The overall vote total at this point (1:30am) is less than 2000.
How is that possible?
There were people standing in line for 6 hrs to vote.
How could it be possible to have less votes now?
If this is fixed there is going to be problems.
Thank diebold for giving Bush a win. They have 35 states with these machines; with no way to verify the ballots.
I’ll never vote again if this stands.
