Frank Edwin McGraw, Tug McGraw, passed away yesterday. 59. He touched all of our hearts, and as a kid, for me… sometimes words fail. This is one of those times. God bless him and his family.

Ya wanna get mad about something? On ABC’s sunday round table show (you know the one, with Stephanopolis and Will and whatnot) does an “In Memoriam” every week. So they mentioned Tug McGraw. What did they mention? That he played for the Mets. Not that he threw the winning pitch in the 1980 World Series, thus winning the game for Philadelphia. No. The mention the lousy Mets.
Sometimes I hate New York.
Sometimes Philly is like Rodney Dangerfield – I swear we get no respect.
