One of the few politicians that have ever given me any kind of hope has won for governor of Pennsylvania. And it wasn’t even close.
Can’t say that about most of the other big elections taking place across the country. Looks like the Republicans are having a good night.

I told you he would win. Regional resentment can work the other way, too. I cringe every time I hear some too-clever-by-half New Jerseyian call our state “Pennsyltucky”. I’m glad the governor will finally be someone with an appreciation for core city and suburban issues *and* state-wide concerns.
