Can you switch to MySQL at the old site? You could then dump the database, and then dump it back to the new site.
Or you could export your old site, then reimport into the new site. That’s not as good an option as copying the db files or dumping the SQL database, since you can only export a single blog and the entry numbers might (probably will) change. But I’ve done it a couple of times after screwing up my live site… I needed to do some hand fixing afterwards, but it could be done.
